The FT Island member expressed his excitement for his upcoming role, saying, “After being always in the back as FT Island’s drummer, I’m nervous to stand on stage in the front as a musical actor for the first time. In particular, it’s true it’s more nerve-wrecking since it’s an overseas performance but I will ensure I show a pro-like and great appearance.”
Though Korean-produced overseas musicals have been exported to Japan before, Gwanghwamun Younga’s entry into Japan is also all the more meaningful as it marks one of the few times an entirely Korean-produced and Korean-licensed musical has gone to Japan.
The musical will run in Osaka from November 10 through December 2
while the Tokyo performances will run from January 1, in 2013, through
January 27.
